DESCRIPTION:
|
Six USTs (3 containing gasoline
and 3 containing used oil) were removed from the site and a
confirmed release was filed. Client requested help to resolve
the problem on his site. Full delineation of the extent of
contamination was required in order to attempt to close the
confirmed release, provided contamination had not migrated off
site. Performed activities for delineation of contamination to
obtain sufficient data to prepare a Final Assessment Report.
Notified MDEQ of intent to work on site within time constraints.
Prepared site specific HASP. Developed wells, collected soil
and water samples and prepared samples in accordance with
protocol, including Method 5035 preparation of soil samples for
VOCs. Submitted samples with trip blank under chain of custody
to qualified independent laboratory for analysis of gasoline
parameters and PNAs. Evaluated lab data using RBCA and MDEQ
Criteria and determined that contaminants appeared to be
migrating off site. Unfortunately, client passed away. |
